AP: "Too Close to Call"

NEW ORLEANS — Voters were deciding Saturday whether incumbent Mayor Ray Nagin or challenger Lt. Gov. Mitch Landrieu should oversee this city's long recovery from Hurricane Katrina — one of the largest reconstruction projects in U.S. history.

Whoever wins the too-close-to-call election takes office a day before the June 1 start of the next hurricane season in a city where streets are still strewn with rusting, mud-covered cars and entire neighborhoods consist of homes that are empty shells.

The guru says that 53% of the primary vote was black. It needs to drop 49%, for Landrieu for to be at even. The cross racial voting is about even, so far.

I was teaching at Delgado Community College that year. We knew Edwards was going to strip higher ed if he was elected, and he did, but who could vote for Duke?

As an outsider that deals daily with many NOLA folks (Mainly Blacks) who will never go back to New Orleans or Louisiana, I can tell you to take a good look at the morons that you the voters of Louisiana have put in office. Ray Nagin is an idiot racist, but yet he is the best of the lot. Governor Blanco should have been sent to a black hole somwhere to never return. The Landrieu family is about the lowest Democrat Party politcal scum you can muster together in one place. William Jefferson, the great "Black" Congressional Black Cuacus racist criminal goes ahead daily, unfettered or unchallenged.

Methinks the "Black" folks in NOLA, and in the rest of the country are beginning to realize they have been used and had big time by the Democrat Party vermin and their "so-called" Black leadership. And...now the magnificent Democrat Party is throwing the Blacks in the basement. Yippee!!! It's the Hispanics turn now says the likes of Teddy Kenneday, etc.!!! You Black folks ain't got no power and nowhere to go. We Democrats made sure of that!!! Your CBC is useless, can do and accomplish nothing. And....all your NAACP does is rant and rave against GW Bush, as does your "Communist/Racist" CBC buffoon, John Conyers" You folks just don't get it. You are in the Democrat pocket!! So....shut your mouths and keep voting Democrat!!!

Now, if LA voters ever really want a state to become something, then "all" folks in LA better turn to a dude like Bobby Jindal. Democrats will take NOLA nowhere, just as they are devoid of any ideas as a national party. For goodness sakes, the Republican Party is in free fall, and I will bet that the Pubbies hold both the House and Senate this year regardless of polls, the MSM and blather of Democrat pundits. If only 37% of the voters of NOLA turned out for this so-called critical/important runoff, the Democrat low life vermin and traitors are not doing too well. Well NOLAs, you made your bed, now lay in it!!!
