When the hatred is pathological, not much in the way of reason is going to prevail.

This is a "woman scorned". And the source of all the scorn heaped upon her was, obviously, George W. Bush.

Even though he probably had never heard of her before she made her first lunatic outburst.

Which just may have been simultaneously with her first concert appearance with the Dixie Chicks.

And the second single is "Not Ready to Look Nice Either."

And who woulda thunk that the umm, "larger" girl in a otherwise cute girl group would be the one to go looking for even more attention?

Yeah, big surprise, that one.

I used to really like the Ditzy Chicks , I used to buy all their CD's . Since Maines came out with her seditious little comments I have ceased even listening to them entirely. And now this. I guess they are hoping the there are people in the
bone-in-the-nose crowd that listen to country music.
Has been's.....

"I'd rather have a small following of really cool people who get it, who will grow with us as we grow and are fans for life, than people that have us in their five-disc changer with Reba McEntire and Toby Keith," Maguire said. "We don't want those kinds of fans. They limit what you can do."

I don't know the music business but seems to me that if your goal is to limit your audience and play to a small group of cool people only you won't be around very long. Business is business. I don't care how many producers and record company executives agree with your rants the bottom line is money. If you don't make the record execs money you don't make records.

I doubt the record execs are too impressed at being on the billboard top ten cool people chart.

Sheesh!....they just don't know when to shut-up, do they!

With Maquire and Robinson's remarks piled on, they keep digging themselves even deeper!

Now they'll have Reba McEntire's fans mad at em too.....!

For band member Martie Maguire, the controversy was a blessing in disguise.

Yeah, if you call reduced album sales and radio play a "blessing".

They had a song that was popular; what, 10 years ago? I didn't know that they were still around.

I quit buying Dixie Chicks music the day Maines spewed her remark about Bush. Until then, I had a copy of all of their work. Never again. Jodie Foster just added herself to the same list today with the spew she delivered at a commencement ceremony. Another leftist loser.

I always liked SheDaisy better.

Dear Natalie,

I am glad to hear you say that because it's more likely that people will have me in their five-disc changer than you.

Love, msjhall
