I must say I have a deep fascination with the Scandinavian situation. Most people think of Scandinavia as being the "whitest" and safest place on earth.
But police simply will not go in many areas of Sweden's third largest city! Think about that- as bad as it's ever gotten in an American ghetto, I've never heard of a place where the police simply will not go.
This appears to be due to the combination of an ultra-whimpy society and a group of immigrants that knows fear and submissiveness when they see it.
We have millions of Arab immigrants in the US, but they know that we aren't complete patsies here. We'll put them in jail if they attack our police, and our welfare system isn't nearly as generous as in Sweden- they need to work.

I'm very interested in the source of this article. Our firewall blocks it. Can anyone tell me about the source? Is this a major publication or blog? My wife went to university in Sweden (Vaxjo) and despite our living in the UK, Texas, Wisconsin, and South Dakota, she still thinks that Sweden is idyllic. I've told her that they've been having trouble with immigration but that doesn't fit with her 80s/90s mindset. I'd like to share this with her.

The critical factor in what is happening in Sweden is their Socialism. They are fairly free trade with foreign nations. This gave them a huge bucket of funds, which they then doled out through social programs. Sweden, having been some 87% Lutheran, felt no small amount of ethnocentric guilt and removed many of their border controls and welcomed diversity.
Many Muslims, especially from Turkey, immigrated to Sweden so that they could receive the handouts while beginning the Balkanization of Sweden, as they have done in several other European nations.
Sound familiar? (Hint: Those currently debating one of the current "hot issues" in the US ought to learn from Sweden's mistake.)
Bet Sweden is STILL allowing "immigrants" from Muslim countries to come on...
And the US is doing the same silly thing with Mexico, but they will only be taking over at the ballot box. /s

Those rescue personnel should opt for letting the muslims decide if they want help. If they want help bad enough, they can drag their own injured to somewhere where it's safe for the rescue personnel to treat them. Those rescue personnel should NOT have to put up with being treated like that. If the muzzies think we're such scum, we shouldn't be bothered touching them, lest we contaminate them. Too bad.
Why people don't just go in there and take care of business is beyond me. Business would be very, very good.

It was, just a few years ago. I was in Malmo in the late 60's. I don't think there was a single non-white person there. I never saw one and and stayed in the poorer part of town.
Exploiting third world people to hold up unworkable socialism won't work in the long run. Anymore than it will hold up our farmers here.
I have nosympathy for the Swedish people. They're too much like immediate gratification Americans who want illegals to clean toilets for them ... at the long term expenses for all of us. The Swedish example -- one more reason to shore up our borders...

Coming back to this post after so long refreshes the memory.
The Swedish government should arm the natives (muslims need not apply) and run these rabble out of the country. Once all the koranimals are killed or run out (preferably the latter), then the government can consider arming the moderate muslims that are left over. Meanwhile, they should also eliminate immigration from muslim countries.
About whether they'll actually come to their senses and take these or similar steps, I have no idea.
