I thought that was worth repeating!!!!!
Thanks! Ann's so right on it's depressing....
Aha! Ann obviously was inspired by my threads on this subject:
Would the illegals' Hagel-Martinez tax payment actually be an EITC payout? , and...
Under Hagel-Martinez, illegals to receive yearly Government check for up to $4,700.
She forgets that these illegal alien intruders will be eligible for affirmative action programs. Same for their children. No immigrant should be allowed affirmative action. Why should some clown from Haiti or Nicaragua be eligible for it? They came to this "racist" nation of their own volition
"Mexican illegal aliens will be able to apply for and receive US Social Security benefits after having worked (illegally) in the US for only 6 quarters (18 months) while US citizens (read: you and I) have to work 40 quarters (10 years) before we're eligible to apply."
What is WRONG with PRESIDENT BUSH???????????????????????????
Just lovely!!!
The Senate bill also forgives illegal aliens who have committed identity theft by stealing American Social Security numbers to get jobs.
So in addition to the Two Years Tax-Free plan for illegals, they get one free felony. Also, illegal immigrants from Mexico qualify for affirmative action, allowing them to get into U.S. colleges with lower grades and scores than Americans
I would like to announce my name is no longer freepatriot32 its is now freeto patrito what ever the spanish word for three is doce.I'm going to need all of your social security numbers so you can prove to me that you are actually on my libertarian ping list. Just mail me the cards to my new home in tihauna. I'll give them back to you when I sneak across the border a few weeks after I get there. Viva la aztland,no habla englis.
Libertarian ping.To be added or removed from my ping list freepmail me or post a message here
ROFL!
I never really thought about it, but, now that you mention it, yeah. Since you seem to be obsessed with what I think, you are really dumber than dirt.
And that isn't even the half of it.
they are only doing what baalzabush demands, get your first born ready baalzabush has plans.
Today I was at the grocery store just struggling with the decision. Should it be the fillet mignon, or chicken kabobs? Then I said to myself; what would sinkspur do?
So you never have to ask: the filet. Always the filet. Oh, and get yourself a nice $30 Zinfandel. From California, preferably.
Just so you know, they were very good as always! =)
Interesting notion. I reviwed your communiques with other FReepers and it appears that your primary focus here is to annoy people.
Do you have any friends or family?
She is not the only one disillusioned with the administration. I heard President Bush on last nights news give a 'ringing' defense of the USMC. Reminded me of the 'ringing' endorsement his brother gave Katherine Harris. John Warner gave a better defense of the Corps than Bush. He seems to be getting weaker by the day.
Really? Because included in the article is this:
Also, illegal immigrants from Mexico qualify for affirmative action,
I think what Ann is saying is that none will pay the penalties or taxes and that there is no government agency that is going to force them to.
But this immigration debate has made one thing starkly clear to me, something I already knew but hadn't expected to ever see demonstrated so blatantly:
American government's primary purpose is to carry out the transfer of wealth from the smaller group of people who create it to the larger group of people who don't know how to create it, in the hope of securing the lasting political support of the larger group.
This purpose cuts across all party lines and all good intentions. New representatives who go to Washington in the hopes of making a stand against this purpose find themselves cajoled, influenced, or even threatened to change their opinions - and ultimately decide to go along, hoping they can at least do some good. Thus the slack-jawed dismay of Frist, et al, at the fact that the base doesn't appreciate the good they have done and the pressure they are under to "go along to get along". It literally does come down to: "You've got your SUV's and your McMansions and your malls...what the hell do you want now? Shut up and let us do what we need to do to keep the economy (i.e., tx revenues) flowing!"
It's no longer a Republican vs. Democrat debate - both parties are pursuing the same goal using very different rhetoric. Republicans will get us there a bit slower and with a bit more respect for tradition - Democrats will get us there more quickly and non-traditionally, but never doubt that both major parties are headed for the same post-modernist train station: an imperial government served by its people, and paternalistically serving them in turn by paying their bills and making most of their life decisions. Sadly, far too many Americans see this as a good place to end up - freedom from responsibility and more time to watch TV. ;)
