arrogant artificial cocky conceited deceitful domineering egotistical glib etc.
If he believes that a wind farm built on a reef endangers boaters, then he not only drinks like a Kennedy, but navigates like one too!
drunk
And they're noisy too. Global noise, an inconvenient truth.
Of course someone could call and tell them to turn down the stereo. But then we might hear the screams of another rape victim.
Damn I'm in a mean mood this morning.
Disgusting, but predictable. The media here in MA will give Ted a pass, but Howie Carr won't.
Typical arrogant DUmmy crap.
How this bloviating gas-bag has managed to continue in the senate for as long as he has is a testimony to the power of the Kennedy name forty years after the death of JFK.
There are a few of these "windmills" ,in the waters, in Hull, MA a few towns over. To be honest, I love the way they look.
I have read that the windfarm would cause serious problems for the fishermen of the area. Some people from this forum said the same thing. If that is the case, is this necessarily wrong.
Our Founding Fathers would be so ashamed of us for putting up with charlatans such as Kennedy, and so angry with us for actually voting them into office over and over again. They would grieve for the failure of their idea of representative government because they thought Americans would have better sense.
Less effect on the fish if it's built off the shore of a "working-class" area?
Only if this is taken into consideration everywhere that wind turbines are placed, and not just off the Kennedy compund. I know that it doesn't seem to bother the cows in the pastures where the wind turbines are out here in California.
They said the same thing about offshore oil rigs. Now they form an artificial reef off of Louisiana's coast, teeming with ocean life.
To put it more accurately, and succinctly:
Amoral
There was a piece in the WSJ on this. It said that the cost of this windfarm would exceed the benefit and might actually cost customers more in the long run. Although the article said they would only be running for a certain percentage of the time. I say, let them run them as much as possible and export the surplus power for extra revenue.
Huh?
Naushon Island is the Forbes family "summer retreat", as in John FORBES Kerry.
