given what the more accepted chicxulub impact did 65m years ago.

The Chicxulub impact killed the Dinosaurs hypothesis is not more accepted, in fact the opposite as it is easily debunked (Honeybees & Alligators anyone).

It's pretty popular in the media because of it's Hollywood type ending and with some Astronomers & Geologist looking for a trip to Cancun, but you will find very few paleontologist who agree with that silly hypothesis.
