Hear, hear!

Though I must admit to being a Rugby and Cricket man myself along with plenty of motorsport!

'mothers must be so proud of how fat their sons have come....' Lectured on being fat by an American! Do those guys really qualify as fat on your side of the pond? :D

Sorry, it should have been how "far" their sons have come. No on outdoes the US in the fat department...

"pansy version of rugby"... Have you ever watched how violent American Football is? The average career is 4 years in the NFL, mostly due to injuries...

The Germans," he said, "have a sense of humour.

It usually involves someone falling, hurting themselves or someother misfortune but I guess you could say they have a sense of humor.

'I think "fat" was supposed to be "far".'

Oh I see. My apologies if I responded inappropriately.

If the English fans really wanted to offend, they'd have inflatable Lancasters.

'Twasn't the Spitfires dumping ten ton loads of high explosive on German cities :-)

My Grandfather turned wrenches on Hurricanes during the battle of Britain. He said that you could go for days without seeing a Spit.

I think Supermarine had better PR guys than Hawker.:)

Sorry, I should have noticed the typo - thought it was strange response! :D

I have, it's just as violent as Rugby, the game it was based on - that's why you call it a 'touch-down' even though you don't have to touch the ball down like you do in Rugger. I'm not surprised they all get injured running around with motorcycle helmets and kevlar flak jackets on! They'd get injured far less if it was just flesh on flesh, not flesh on riot cop outfit! :D

Here in South Texas, rabies is endemic among wild mammals. All dogs and cats are required to have annual rabies vaccination while in other parts of the US, the same vaccination would be valid for three years.

That's pretty bad. In Germany their main problem is foxes, and they fix it by dropping vaccine-laden biscuits all over where the foxes live. Unfortunately, that wouldn't work well for bats, which I bet are a big part of your problem.

And they do run around in mustard colored suit jackets and shorts with black socks. So yeah, maybe they do.

The Hurricanes performed most admirably... but they weren't as 'pretty'. In America, those old enough to remember think Mustang/Corsair... rather than Thunderbolt/Hellcat.

Although these rubber planes look more like barrage-balloons, I think this is a hysterically funny response by the fans - in the face of an amazing amount of PC threat by the German police.

American Football - oh you mean your pansy version of rugby for sissies who need crash helmets and padded bras in case they bruise themselves?

LOL!!

I think England fans have absolutely no intention of being pushed around by german police who are oversensitive about their past. The more the krauts threaten, the more the fans see it as a challenge!

Yes. That and the frying pan Manuel whacked him in the head with.
