If we can restrain them long enough so that we can install a chip, then why don't we just boot them out?
The problem is not that we don't know where they are. The problem is that they are putting downward pressure on wages, particularly in low wage jobs.

I agree with the whole mark of the beast thing. Think about, it is the start of how they will be enticed by only being able to get jobs with insertion of the chip. Bad Idea. Slippery Slope

"Mark of the Beast"
If people keep throwing this out for everything, we will just stagnate. I remember when 'bar codes' were the "Mark of the Beast", then SSNs, then RFID, then Digital Angel, now ID cards.. I still wonder what "Nero Caesar" has to do with any of this?

immigrant workers coming to the U.S. might be required to get a RFID microchip implant
Hmm, trying to figure out how an illegal is going to micro-chipped when he sneaks across the border.
Ohhh, I get it now, anyone without is chip must be a U.S. citizen by default. Great new immigration plan yah got there gov, NOT.

I have always said the "mark of the beast" when introduced will not be forced upon us as one feared, but will come along as a welcomed necessity. And you can see in todays headlines the slow introduction of the concept. What will it take for it to be to be welcomed? Is border security alone enough, or will it take another 9/11 or an event much much worse?
In any case us nutty Christians that take seriously all those apoplectic prophecies don't seem so quite so nutty anymore, do we?
To: francke
Specter and Sessions didn't say it, President Uribe of Colombia suggested it in a meeting with them, they said it wouldn't work.

Odd how the "mark of the beast" crowd isn't worried about immigrants being issued credit cards, SSNs, debit cards, the new paper dollars, or using any of the above when purchasing goods marked with a UPC barcode - any and all of which were formerly hailed as the "mark of the beast"....
