BAGHDAD, Iraq Jun 8, 2006 (AP)— Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, the al-Qaida-linked militant who led a bloody campaign of suicide bombings, kidnappings and hostage beheadings in Iraq, has been killed in a U.S. air raid north of Baghdad, Iraq's prime minister said Thursday.
Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki said al-Zarqawi was killed Wednesday evening along with seven aides.

I volunteered to go overseas 3 times, I just got back in Dec 06, and I can tell you, that as badly as it hurt to see the Warrior's pain, I was glad to be a there for them. They are my Heroes..... and the funny thing is they don't even know they are Heroes........

Did you see the press in Iraq start yelling and applauding when Maliki made the announcement? They thought he was going to announce the new ministers. LOL
PMSNBC hated to see that. Some moron is now saying it WILL be an Iraqi that will rise to assume Z's position.
