She's not analyzing. She's advocating a very specific point of view. She's an advocate by both training and inclination. Like any lawyer making a case, her point of view is set before she puts the first words on paper/screen. And that's fine. She presents her case in an amusing way.
Conversely, an analyst looks at a thing with as little bias as possible to reach a conclusion.

You can tell the people who don't have the stomach to fight liberals when they starting whining that Coulter went "too far" and resort to the same arguments the Left uses.

Partisan backlash is the best kind!:) The Republican Party is the party of vouchers, of cutting taxes, of securing the border. To the extent that the Republcians ar an "open border" party it's in large part due to the influence of libertarians such as Tamar Jacoby who have lost the need for conservative restraints upon their utopian libertarian ideals. Conservatism means dealing with what is the case, not what we would like to be the case. Of course you're right that it's not the case that the Republican Party=conservatism. Augustine's City of God showed how no city, no nation nor any political party should ever be identified with the ideal it strives for. But, it's still the best option for non-utopian conservatives.
There's no Mike Pence offereing imaginative, constructive solutions to the border problem in the Democratic Party. There's no President Bush who bravely stepped on the "third rail" of politics to reform Social Security, either. Do I always agree with Mike Pence or Presiedent Bush? Of course not, not anymore than I think libertarians have nothing to offer the Republican Party. Representative Pence and President Bush don't always agree with each other, so it's logically impossible to agree with both all of the time. As for cronyism, I agree that's a problem--- but it's a problem for any political party anywhere with any degree of power, not a strictly Republican one, and the most forthright elected opponents of it have been Republicans like Ken Blackwell.

I will be the first to admit, I have a real issue with satire these days.
In my opinon, satire needs to somehow be distinguishable in some way from reality.
Liberals are SO outlandish, that there is nothing short of the introduction of Aliens from outer space that can make something recognizable as satire, and even then, there are some prominent liberals who think Karl Rove is an alien.
If it didn't make me so angry, it would be hilarious.

I agree, but...the point is exactly as you say, an ATF agnet is equally deserving of default respect (until, of course, you find out they were a Clinton era appointee who agrees with everything Janet Reno did...:)
The point is, everyone is deserving of default respect as a base level. You see an old guy driving down the road? You should give him default respect...he may be an elderly veteran or a father who worked his butt off raising his kids. A young woman might be a dedicated school teacher.
The point I was trying to make (and I suspect you don't disagree with me)is that EVERYONE who is unknown to you should be treated with respect.
How they act or speak when you interact with them may change that, but even if you disagree with them still doesn't mean you have license to treat them disrespectfully.
That old guy who might be a veteran who passed you on the road might cut you off or flip the bird, but that doesn't necessarily cause you to abdicate your default respect.
However, if you do things like spend all your waking hours denouncing in politically motivated, personal and sometimes vitriolic tones the very person doing the most trying to protect you (George Bush) while ignoring the people who actually caused you the harm (Al Queda), to the ADVANTAGE of the person or people who are trying to cause you harm, well, as far as I am concerned, my default respect is out the window. I am pretty tolerant, but I subscribe to freedom of speech unless it could hurt me, my family or my country.
The Jersey Girls possibly fall into all three of those categories.
Liberal pundits say equally outrageous things all the time, Ann just gives them a taste of their own medicine.
