OK, I'll bite. What is the true dirt you seem to exclusively have on Mr. Parker that others appear to be oblivious to? Sources? Citations?

Since the only source you appear to be using is a rather biased report, I don't think you are all that concerned about sources or citations. But if you seem to want something other than the one here, I'll provide it.

Here's how it was reported by one source which many here would agree with from opinionjournal.com

Linda Kimball
On April 27th of this year, the heavy hand of Bolshevism clamped down upon David Parker, a Lexington, MA. citizen and father of a six year old son. David was arrested on trumped up charges, handcuffed like a dangerous felon, and led off to jail. His heinous crime? Parker is guilty of being a morally principled man with the courage to request that he and his wife be given advance notification when issues of sexual unnaturalness and perversion (transgenderism, sodomy, and same-sex headed relationships) were going to be discussed in his son's classroom. Said Parker, "certain authorities insist that I agree that my children must be taught that gay relationships and transgender transformation are acceptable and normal. When I firmly, albeit patiently, objected and then finally insisted to be notified when and how my own children were to be exposed to these issues, I was arrested and hauled off to jail." Freedom of conscience has been made a hate-crime in Massachusetts.

Now for the real story: Parker first put his kids into the school with full knowledge of its policies toward homosexuals. One day he "found" a book in his 1st grader's backpack that showed several non-traditional families. No sex, but clearly geared toward showing same sex families. Parker contacted the school and said he was not notified of the book in advance. The school apologized and said they do let parents know it is coming so they can stop it if they want, but apparently did miss this one. Parker then asked for a meeting which he canceled, but another was agreed to and set up. Parker showed and the school agreed to his demand that anytime homosexual materials are presented that he be notified. He then changed his demand to any discussion. The school said that they could not accede to that demand because questions could arise in the classroom outside of a planned discussion. Parker insisted, and said he was not leaving until the school agreed.

He was told the meeting was over and that the school was being closed up for the night. He still refused, so the police were called. The police asked him twice to leave and he refused, and was subsequently arrested. At the station he refused bail and remained in jail. He was charged with trespassing, and afterward the school refused him permission to set foot on school property. Later the school relented so that he could at least bring his children to school. During all of this, he set up a "legal defense fund" right here on FR. Later the school board met and firmly set a policy of no notification at all, which he had actually won, only to lose after his antics.

Most here feel that this crusade of Parker in the heart of liberal Massachusetts was worth the cost. But Parker was using his children as pawns in this effort. He did not want any agreement with the school. That is evidenced by the emails between Parker and the school. He could have gone to the school board and petitioned like most parents do. He could have chosen home schooling or a private school. He had many options, but chose the one he thought would make him the hero.

One comment I made at the time was that he was sacrificing his children, because they would have to go to school every day, and would be subjected to ridicule or more. Parker didn't seem concerned about that at all. To him, they were part of his holy crusade. And yes, there are plenty of sources for this.
