I sometimes see some members of Amnesty International on the street recruiting, and unless I'm in a hurry, I always stop and lay into them about their disgusting slanted treatment of the US. In particular, I flay them over their Secretary General's comment that Guantánamo is the "gulag of our times." They're either ignorant of the matter or they try to defend it, at which point the fun begins.

Out of curiosity I looked at the Amnesty websites ( amnesty.org and amnestyusa.org ) to see if there was any mention in the news relating to this incident. Nope. Zip, Zero, Nada. However it was hard to avoid something relating to Club Gitmo and other "abuses related to the WOT"

The so called "Human rights groups" are a mix of largely foreigners and the Far Left in America. They want to destroy US Supreme Power status by twisting the law and manipulating courts and public opinion around the world. They use the War on Terror and "terrorists human rights" against America in every single instance that they can create.

The "News agencies" are the propaganda agents of the "Democrat" party and want to destroy the Republican party through bogus news reports and spin. The "News agencies" are on a never ending negative political campaign against the Republicans and spin the WOT and terrorist atrocities as the fault of Republicans. They constantly criticize the US/Bush Administration while never giving any credit and never revealing any success.

The "Democrats" are a political party of Left idiots who are too crap-headed ignorant to get elected to power by "kissing the baby" politics or enthralling Americans with their brilliant ideas of education system, job growth, national security, etc, so they rely on the "News agencies" to do a constant hatchet job. "Democrats" constantly inflate the terrorists while attacking our own prosecution of the WOT. They don't care if America is brought to ruins because that is the only way those ignorant jerks can get elected and as long as they are the ones standing on the ruins then that is just fine with them.

Yep. The Left does not support the troops. Proof of this is to be found in their silence when American soldiers captured by terrorists are murdered by the terrorists. The very people so quick to rush to judgment about the slightest alleged American "human rights violations" are nowhere to be found when the real human right of Americans to live is violated. That is telling.
