Now let’s all hold our breath while we wait for the “Peace” activists, anti-war folk, human rights groups, international law purveyors, and Geneva Convention tub-thumpers to express their outrage over the cold-blooded torture, murder, and boobytrapping of American POWs at the hands of these “Freedom” fighters.

I’m sure they’ll begin marching any minute.

Any minute now.

Yup, any minute the professional protestors will be filling our streets, I’m sure of it.

Wait, I think I see one of them now!

Nope, just someone walking their dog.

Even we in the enlightened West have understood that it is better to be feared than loved. As Indicated above, the entire justification for subscribing to stuff like the Geneva Convention is to protect our soldiers who are POWs. If reciprocity does not work, then we are being naive to continue with the niceties when they are first torturing and then beheading our soldiers.

Some folks will only understand a 2x4 to the head. Our soldiers go to prison for leading their goons around on a dog leash. When they torture and mutilate our soldiers, the other side is rewarded.

We have bent over backwards trying to be nice. As I recall, we got al-Zarqawi because some informant ratted him out under circumstances that did not merit the $25,000,000.00 reward. I don't think for a second that al-Zarqawi got fingered because the informant thought that the USA is full of nice guys.

As nearly as I can tell the previous ruler of Iraq kept a pretty tight lid on things and his soldiers were not tortured or mutilated. I am not suggesting that we need to be like Hussein, but we need to show that we can make life just as miserable for those who would do this sort of thing if we are sufficiently provoked. Disagreeing with us is not sufficient provocation. Torturing and killing POWs is.

Game theory has repeatedly shown that tit for tat is the best way to deal with intransigent factions. If they give us a Twiggy tat, I'm prepared to give them a Dolly Parton tit.

The Sheehan's, the Kerry's, and the Murtha's in our midst are one of the reasons our men are being butchered so grotesquely.

DING DING DING! We have a winner!

This is exactly why. These killings and desecrations were done with the express intent of supporting the anti-war jackals and their allies in the drive-by media back in the states. alQuaeda knows full well it cannot win this war by military means, so it manipulates the American public via the MSM. It is their only hope of winning, and if the @#$*%^ democrats have their way, alQuaeda will emerge victorious and we will have suffered yet another Vietnam at the hands of our domestic traitors.

There is much to lose, and our enemies (domestic and foreign) are working feverishly to see that it happens.

I wrote my congressman this morning asking him to please call the dem traitors in congress, especially the biatch Jane Harman to the carpet. Their silence is deafening. A pox on all of them. I'm not holding my breath but I would love to wake up in the morning and hear on the news that the "Triangle of Death" has been renamed the "Triangle of Rubble".

(personally, I can't believe I did that! I have risked bringing the wrath of CAIR-about-ourselves-only down on me!)Oh well, since I'm sure they've attended the Jessie Jackson Weekend In Vegas seminar on shake-downs, they'll probably just try to solicit funds from me. Anything else...well, I never signed a Geneva convention!

Be really sad if other soldiers had abandoned them while they were unconcious.

Yes it would, but apparently they wer "peeled off" from the back end of a convoy, sort of like lions will peel off a Wildebeast from the tail end of the herd.

Still some confusion on that issue. But clearly this was a planned effort to snatch US troops, to be executed and mutilated to "make a point".

Well, we can make points as well.

Warm up the BUFFs, Bones and B-2s at Diego.

Islam is the greatest threat to civilization, since the Nazi's.
This is totally true..The shame is that the majority of the world feeds off of the media and the media is against the US (even our own) we have an evergrowing ignorant population who can be fooled easier than a child JUST because it's presented in the media. I live in the NY Metro and you CANNOT believe what the majority of people believe here..It's true insanity , all fed to them thru the MSM. 'm so sick of it all.We will bury ourselves eventually .

You are wrong my friend .This will take any of the teeth left out of the military. Ask questions first then maybe shoot , with permission from your lawyer of course.
The only way to win a war is to kill everyone and everything in sight . The enemy must be reduced to crying at the mere thought of you, total humiliation . So what next for our military. They are being treated like this is some sort of local law enforcement issue. They will soon need to have lawyers with them on the field as the MSM watches every move they make. They will be put on trial for being politically incorrect to the enemy soon enough.
get the press out of Iraq and let the Marines do what they are meant to do , kill people and blow things up.

Curious if you received a reply from them? The So Cal chapter of 'Terrorists Live Among You' wasn't very happy with my question of their lack of criticism about the torture, murder and mutilation of our two soldiers. I simply asked if they were going to make a statement on their self-serving website anytime soon.

I received this reply:

>> If you were smart enough you would have noticed that our website has not been updated for almost 5 months now. We have not been able to find a replacement for our webmaster who left town. And for your info, the radio host issue had nothing to do with silence or lack of it. It has to do with pure bigotry for which he apologized.

As for the crimes in Iraq, you can check our dozens of statements which have loudly criticized the frequent show of brutality on both sides, our occupation forces and the Iraqi insurgency or terrorists. The key to ending this tragic cycle of violence is by ending our illegal and immoral occupation of Iraq. We have no business being there. We wouldn't others to occupy our country, would you? If you truly care for our soldiers, and it seems not, you would be emailing the president right now asking him to bring our troops back home to their families. It seems some people, like yourself, are just satisfied to send our young men and women to be killed in order to satisfy other people's warmongering desires. Shame on you. Our soldiers deserve better than that. Imagine if you were one right now <<

They apparently want to engage in a wizzing contest. I sent a smokin' reply to them this morning.

I continue to hear about this barbaric torture. Has it been confirmed? If it has, I have yet to hear anything like this on the news reports. If this ere true wouldn't there be so much outrge that it would be on the air 24/7 with an endless parade of elected officials denouncing this????

Has it been confirmed?

Yes, it has.

General Caldwell, when making the announcment, said the bodies were so mutalated that DNA was required to even identify them.

What more do you want/need? Google on news about the deaths. Numerous articles give more detail on the conditions of the two bodies.

I got 3 bounced emails, two of them today (hmmmm...wonder if their boxes got filled?) and this reply last night (the order is backward, his origanal reply is at the bottom, his last reply is first):

Our local website (cairchicago.org) focuses on local issues. Please contact the national website administrator at cair.com for national event coverage.

Thanks for your reply. Where can I find your statement about the 2 US soldiers? I don't see it on your website.
thank you

Dear Sir/Madame,

We definitely abhor the torture of any and every human being, American or not, soldier or not. As such, we have made public statements condemning the torture of our 2 soldiers as we have made previous statements condemning torture by our soldiers in Abu-Ghraib. I hope you join us in condemning torture regardless of who perpetrates it and against whom.
