"You were under the impression that it is not a statement of logic, but some sort of personal opinion."

I still am. Because, in many cases, that is all it will ever be.

Look, I consider your tagline simple sloganeering because we will never agree on the second wrong--i.e., that it is in fact a "wrong". It may be to you, but not to the other guy. However, in the unlikely event of an agreement that there are indeed two "wrongs", I suppose you have a point.

And where, in the name of heaven, did you find that "logic site"? I thought I had seen just about everything.

Sorry, my view of Islam will never change. Sure isn't my fault, it is theirs. I feel no guilt.

I googled "two wrongs make a right" + fallacy. That site is one of several logical fallacy sites that came up. Other logical fallacies are strawman, tu quoque, and argumentiam ad hominem.

Well, I did learn something from our exchange.

Thanks.

No problem. :-) You're funner to argue with than the R-bots who bemoan the possible loss of Lincoln Chafee's senate seat in these threads below. At least you care about something other than winning elections.

Poll shows Republican primary a dead heat in U.S. Senate race

Cantwell's lead over McGavick nearly gone Latest poll shows senator losing ground to challenger

It is to vomit.

If they have a significant media message (i.e. obtaining and publicizing fatwas declaring that Islam requires unreserved aid and cooperation to civil authorities in suppressing terrorism), then by all means go ahead.

If, however, it's the same tired old talking points, they might as well save their money.
