I suspect that O'Reilly's correct in his belief.That is why Rush would be *very* wise to avoid even the *appearance* of wrong doing.

In a word,Rush (for the foreseeable future,at least) would be wise to consult his lawyer before he throws away a chewing gum wrapper lest there be some 100 year old unknown law making it a felony.

Not trying to blame the victim here but when Rush was talking on his show last week about going up to DC for a couple of days to moderate the "24" thing and then over to the Dom. Republic with friends to hang out and coming back on Monday yada, yada, I thought "Rush, that's way more information than you need to be sharing with god knows who before the fact."

Rush...Move out of the leftist, liberal land of West Palm Beach and come on over to Fort Walton Beach or Navarre, Florida in the panhandle..just under Alabama. We are a very conservative area with two Air Force bases and Navy facilities. We have some of the prettiest beaches in the world and compaired to Palm Beach...real estate is a bargain!

after i heard that the airport fiasco had been leaked, it immediately occurred to me that the best thing rush could do is announce that he has decided to "give back to the community" by moving from his very upscale mansion in palm beach so that it could be used instead as a homeless shelter, taking the worst cases from liberty city in miami and other locales "to give them a fresh start." and to announce that it was the palm beach county state's attorney who had inspited him to do this. i guarafriggingtee you the state's attormey would be removed from office almost at once.
