It will be dropped locally. And if it's in the news, it's ONLY locally. O'Reilly is keeping it in the news nationally. That's my beef.

Hildy - You're absolutely right. O'Reilly is jealous of Rush and IS fanning flames.

This thread is a worldwide thread. By you posting about it so much, could it be argued using your logic that you also are making things worse?
Halfway joking, but I think you are making too much of it.

I guess you have more faith in that sheriff's office and prosecutor than I do. Yes, it's a stupid charge that any OTHER department would drop - but they showed such poor judgement in the initial witch hunt that I truly believe nothing short of making them a national laughingstock can deter them from further shenanigans.
Meanwhile, I hardly think BOR is single-handedly keeping this in the national news. Google "Limbaugh" and "Viagra", and there are plenty of fresh leads that don't involve BOR. Everyone is ALREADY talking about it, so it's hard to blame BOR for doing the same. I guess it's easier if you don't like BOR - I happen to like them both.
At any rate, if Limbaugh thinks BOR is not helping, he'll probably make a broader statement on his show about "not needing anyone's well-meaning help..."
