"TERRORISM: 4 ALGERIANS ARRESTED IN PROVINCE OF VICENZA
(AGI) - Rome, July 21 - Four Algerian citizens have been arrested today by the Carabinieri in the province of Vicenza charged with being part of a terror cell linked to Algerian terror organization "Salafite Group for Preaching and Combat", which, in turn, has ties with Al Qaeda. The Carabinieri carried out the orders of arrest issued by Venice's investigating judge Giandomenico Gallo at the request of the local chief prosecutor. The cell had its logistical base in Vicenza and cooperated with other cells in Brescia, Naples and Salerno. A fifth Algerian citizen was arrested in Emilia Romagna on the same charges as the other four. (AGI) -
