It was an experience. Quite a year.
I been monitoring the Dump since the news broke
So, IMHO, CNN has kicked Fox' butt twice in two very profound hard-news events, Katrina and the NK Missile test.
And, with running this timely documentary (which they probably had buried somewhere), it sounds like someone in Atlanta is starting to "get it". They don't want to become TV's New York Times.
Which helps us all. CNN was a star during the first Gulf War and has been on a downward arc ever since. Maybe they realize they've hit bottom.
This is the 3rd time I have seen this special on CNN, and I still get upset more and more. I just want to reach through the TeeVee screen and grab those poor, pitiful kids and take them to my kitchen and start cooking, making sandwiches and letting them drink all the pop, kool-aid, milk, orange juice and water the want.
We are so very fortunate to live in the good old USA.

I've never hated or stopped watching CNN although sometimes it's exasperating.
