FOX is reporting at least 100 Iranian personnel on the ground in Lebanon to assist Hizballah. The missile was manufactured in Iran using a Chinese design and takes some technical knowhow to fire.
That puts a new light on things. The Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guards have had a presence in Lebanon since the early 80s. Much of Hezbollah's sophistication comes from Iranian training, know how and equipment. Clearly, they are no ordinary run of the mill riff-raff terrorists. It would be accurate to describe them as a proxy Iranian army division.
