You are right on target. I have stopped reading The Corner because of the twin smartasses Podhoretz and Derbyshire. Their insufferable elitism and pompousness are reminiscent of the self-assumed superiority of the Left.
Exactly why I try to keep my elitism, pomposity and self-assumed superiority sufferable.
