Richie's scalloped fretboard.

Thats weird! Say what you will about Ritche, but he is an awesome artist. He looked like he was just holding the guitar and it was playing itself.

If you open with "Not Responsible" they need to invite a Hezzie leader on stage to do a duet.

Holdsworth? Oh now you are just going all out. I saw him in NYC in a club with only about 50 people and that's being generous. Shame he didn't catch on in a bigger way.

It's based on an actual event.

Off the top of my head, the band rented a studio in Switzerland in a gambling house that fronted Lake Geneva (I think). There was a fire burned the place to the ground.

Funky and Claude are real people who pulled kids out of the fire.

So with a deadline but no place to record they "ended up at the Grand Hotel" where the Stones assissted them with production.

At least that is how I remember how the story goes.

RJD is older than Ozzy and his voice is still amazing.

My ears rang for a week after a DP concert.

Loudest band I ever heard, at least until I went to a Blue Oyster Cult concert.

Was that with Zephyr? The Jazz City live session has some Tommy playing a staduim show in denver too.

warning about the Jazz City album though; It's taken from a live radio feed, and the recording quality is just f'n AWFUL!
