If the UN were to put troops in southern Lebanon they would merely prevent Israel from hitting hezbollah. Not that it would stop them if they really wanted to continue.
Which is why the cronic islam appeasers at the EU are pushing just for that.
Just wait. When Hezbollah starts running low on ordinance and sees a looming asskicking, it will open the door for UN to arrive to be used as human shields.
