The difference is that in the last 10 years, islamic fighters have killed, raped and brutalized the world - form the USA, to Britain, to France, to the Sudan, to India to Indonesia to the Philippines. There is no safe place from them - the world is starting to open its eyes...

Some final observations on Hezbollah and Hamas. There is no longer a Soviet deterrent to bail out a failed Arab offensive. There is no longer empathy for poor Islamist “freedom fighters.” One more dividend of Ronald Reagan's victory in the "Cold" War. Hard for the former soviets to have empathy for killers of russian babies. Exposing the islamonazis for what they truly are never would have happened without the fall of the USSR, which emboldened their aspirations to the caliphate.
