I hope it is Linc Chaffee. It could not be Senator Santorum, Senator DeWinn, Senator (Montana), and I know that Rep Harris would never so I believe that everyone is right about Linc Chaffee. My question to him is why he did not give his name? I would think in a liberal state it would not matter as much. Is he just a skunk or something? I believe in standing up to what you believe whether I agree with it or not. For example, I can't stand Barney Frank up in Mass I don't agree with a single issue that he does but at least when th e dribble comes out of his mouth he means it. I now put Senator Chaffee below my respect for Frank (which is negative to zero). Can you imagine Chaffee's respect level...below pond scum.
Perhaps by not providing the name, he's sending the message that there could be any number of candidates who are like this, and the guesses on this board would tend to confirm that.
It's not Chafee. The article indicates the candidate is conservative on the issues like stem cells and marriage.
See my previous two posts on this thread, I don't think it's Chaffee. There is a list of four or five issues that Candidate X sounds conservative on. Some on this thread have said that it might be Michael Steele.
