I'll bet this lady's kids never got one 'I love you' written on a piece of paper in their lunch sack. My kids are grown now but they remember me writing them little notes, wishing them luck on tests and such. We may not have been perfect parents, but it wasn't from lack of trying. Geeeshhh...

She sees child rearing as a career. She'll never be satisfied. The big payout of this career is watching your children be successes in life and raise their own children, get married,etc. Maybe that's why most parents want grandchildren so badly. My mother was not perfect but she was a really good mom who stayed at home and made my lunches.
