It is telling that virtually *all* of Southern Lebanon-- the area dominated by Hezbollah-- is Shia Muslim, with no pockets of other religious groups. This especially stands out in a country known for its religious diversity. It seems that Hezbollah has been undertaking some forced homogenization of religious beliefs in Southern Lebanon-- not a surprise.
