From his comments following the incident he hasn't tried to worm his way out of it. He seems to be taking sole responsibility for his actions. He has a couple of problems, one of which includes drinking. He needs help and there is nothing amusing about that.
Yea, well..what if he wasnt drunk and he said the Jews were behind all the wars and the rest of it? It would be hard to defend, wouldnt it? Would you think saying.."I take responsibility" would be enough?
IMO, .12 alchohol level just isnt high enough to hide behind. Cripes, Im pretty sure I could keep my mouth shut with that meager level of inebriation.
Hollywood's money men are not going to forgive him, but maybe he doesent need them at all. (I guess we'll have to wait and see.)
