Wonder what would happen to me if I moved to Mexico and just decided to stay. Life's good in Acapulco. Weather is nice in winter. That should be enough to convince the Mexicans that I am a good citizen.

"People that had been in the United States for a while, who were planning to stay, now they feel scared," Bravo said.

BRAVO!

"Immigration Crackdown Alarms Ohio Workers"

If you're legal you have absolutely nothing to be concerned about.

"People that had been in the United States for a while, who were planning to stay, now they feel scared"

This wins the "no-shit Sherlock" award. That's the very point. Illegals should be concerned enough that they leave now, or worse consequences happen if they leave later.

"The American Civil Liberties Union decried as vigilantism the detention in May of 18 undocumented immigrants working at a construction site."

Only the ACLU would try this crap -- calling "enforcing the law" a dirty word. Horrors! Maybe next they'll say that the sherriff is "mean-spirited."

Seriously folks, if we want the illegals gone, I have a sure fire cure.
$1,000,000 fine to employer for every illegal working for that employer.
$1,000,000 fine to every person renting to an illegal
$1,000,000 fine to every illegal here, then must leave the country.
$1,000,000 fine for every loan transaction to any bank giving an illegal a loan
$1,000,000 fine for every illegal baby born in the US

can't pay? then don't break the law. if you choose to break the law forfeit your business, home, bank, and freedom for 50 years.
I've had enough, don't tell me these illegals can't be removed. I have just given you one formula to remove the illegals.

I'm sure the illegal aliens who shouldn't be here are concerned. Send them home to ask Vicente' what to do.

Advocates say they are helping drive economic growth and adding diversity.

What a pant load!

When you hear "advocate" used in the same sentence as "diversity", get out your wading boots and a shovel.

A lot of local farms in my area blatently hire illegals, and pay everything under the table. Don't seem to scared to me.
