There is no WW IV, only a civil war within the West. Islamists are only vultures hanging around to eat the carcass. The war is the leftist elites policy of committing genocide, particularly through immigration, against their own peoples and nations, aided and abetted by business collaborators on the "right." Establishment conservatives do so want it to be, at the very least, another cold war, because they understand they are impotent in domestic politics and it's becoming increasingly difficult to keep the domestic shell game going. They lost the culture war and they must lose the political war as well. The first cold war kept the Republicans and the safe conservative establishment artificially alive for decades, and many are hoping the new one will do the same job but that is unlikely.

We and our few real allies, are the only thing that keeps the evil nations (add Sudan to the list as well) in check. China has made their plans very obvious, their generals have released them in publicly available reports. The media and politicians just do not seem to care, so the sheeple remain ignorant. The idea is is to ruin our military capability, through ripping us a part internally, and a series of unconventional attacks, and the use of suicidal proxies (ie Muslims). Open borders, the "peace" movements all work to their advantage. Once we are eliminated from the equation who will stop them? France seems to be somewhat on their side as well, with all their alliances and agreements with the Chinese, though the Muslims plot the destruction of France. With us the Axis of Evil believes they can take out the rest of our remaining allies, the arey working within the US, Britain (recent bombings, other problems with Muslims) and Australia and Canada, and of course are supporting the Muslims and Communist uprisings in India, and the Communists in Columbia. Poland and Japan are probably the most internally secure, but on their own can be overrun. South Korea seems to be suffering internal malaise as well. The idea is to ruin our ability to fight, beat us before they start, so one massive strike will finish us. Of course the Axis will then break up and start fighting itself, and then it will be too late for the world. The might not be able to pull all this off, but they are certainly trying.
