A ping list is a list of people interested in a certain subject. If the person who maintains the list comes across a thread that concerns that subject, they can post a reply in the thread, put the people on the list into the "To" section, and then they will all see his post on their "My Comments" page.

I'll add your name to the California FREEPNORAD list. FREEPNORAD is a series of ping lists I use to alert people to counterprotest opportunities like the one you warned us about in this thread.

I've been looking for a protest sign I saw a while back..It shows three ,or two, peace signs, turned sideways to look like B-52's, with bombs dropping from them,and the sign reds=WE GAVE PEACE A CHANCE.

As for describing myself as a conservative, I'd like to reclaim the term "liberal" from the leftist totalitarians, so I now try to call myself a true liberal and hope that everybody usually described as a conservative does the same.
