That's one of the primary issues I would guess we need help with, that the Federal Government (whom should be vigilantly overseeing the spending and handling of Federal monies) and the locals are pilfering the monies and resources that are being sent, BUT ONE point in case:

Same ol' same ol' sounds like to me in LA. You guys have a situation that has been breeding corruption for decades. It's going to take more than a year and a lot of 'hollering' to change it. Hell, at some point you have to wonder with all those dead voters if it CAN change there. Loving your state is an honorable thing. If I had lived there my entire life, I would have been gone years ago. I mean after 30 years of paying taxes only to see this level of corruption, what's the point? I'm very sorry for the good people of LA. Just try to get one crook out of politics at a time. Oh, and pray!
