You are outrageous, judgmental, condemnatory, irresponsible, and ungrateful.
Many here have sacrificed greatly for Louisiana -- and for other places. But you condemn us for not jumping to give more when you ask. You are a living example of how Federal assistance corrupts people and makes the improvident, self-indulgent beggar consider himself morally superior to the person who plans ahead, saves, and then gives what he can and more. Do you have any idea of how many charitable and tax dollars Louisiana has received from the rest of us? Can you reckon up the value of days and weeks of volunteer labor?
We have given, and despite the incredible effrontery of people like you telling us that we should do more, we WILL do more. As treacherous as the one who bites the hand that feeds him, is the one who looks down on his benefactor for not giving even more.
Grand Isle rebuilt before New Orleans. I bet Plaqumines and St Bernard will rebuild before New orleans.
