O.K. mRNA. The point is a gene doesn't (and can't) "care" what kind of RNA it is making.

So it doesn't make sense to you that genes have products, and non-coding DNA doesn't have products. It would seem then that not much would make sense to you. So be it. I'll take that into consideration in the future.
