Randall Leece Deal, Clayton, Ga. -- liquor law violations and conspiracy to violate the liquor laws.

William Henry Eagle, Wenatchee, Wash. -- possessing an unregistered still, carrying on the business of a distiller without the required bond, and manufacturing mash on other than lawfully qualified premises.

There must be some kind of law that says presidents must pardon a certain number of moonshiners every year. I swear it seems like a couple of these show up on every list of presidential pardons I've seen. LOL.

President Reagan issued a presidential pardon to the most famous moonshiner of them all . . . the guy known as "The Last American Hero" -- moonshiner turned NASCAR rookie turned moonshiner turned NASCAR legend Rober "Junior" Johnson.

After Junior's pardon I hoped that Robert Mitchum would be pardoned.

The first person that came to mind when I saw the liquor law violations was Junior Johnson.
