and krazy glue....Eastman Kodak was looking for an optically clear cement for bonding prisms. The cyanoacrylic cement they came up with was what we know as "super" or "krazy" glue....mind your fingers.

That's because they're physicists and have more experience with this sort of thing. This isn't even a new con, the "mysterious electrical black box that creates energy" has been done before.
