I did not recommend the internment of Arabs I said they should be glad this country did not do it!! I know there are some who have served in the military and have been good americans--but the majority needs to step up and start condemning the Islamo fascist or start giving information that will help stop any group from killing Innocent people again.--Maybe if they started to ACT like good citizens and start assimilating into American society then they will get the respect they demand. So Mr El Gato you are threating anyone who dissents with you?

Ohhhh..ok then. We can all forget that, with the exception of McVeigh, ALL the terrorist attacks launched against Americans have been committed by arabs. Whew, glad I got that straight...

ALL the terrorist attacks launched against Americans have been committed by arabs.
Black Tom Island 1916 was launched by Germans prior to U.S. entering the war.

Puerto Rican terrorist groups, including MIRA, had more than 35 bombings in NYC during the 1970s.

Maybe if they started to ACT like good citizens and start assimilating into American society I think the point is that the Christian Arabs, the largest group of them being of Lebanese ancestory, ARE good citizens, and are as fully assimilated as any other group.
So Mr El Gato you are threating anyone who dissents with you?
No, merely pointing out that some of them, one in particular, is not going to take being "profiled", beyond a bit of scrutiny at least, or being sent to some camp, very peaceably, and I can't blame them a bit. They are here, mostly, because they or their parents and grandparents were chased out of their countries by the practitioiners of the ROP.

In order to sell stuff in the U.S. foreign companies have to have business guys here. For instance, Toyota, Nissan, etc. has to have Japanese guys here.
I disagree with your premise.
However, going on your assumption lets consider the Japanese car makers.
For example, Honda here in Central Ohio - The VAST majority of their Japanese born employees here have become citizens. Those who have not yet attained citizenship would be sent home.
If this were a major inconvenience for Honda, I'm quite certain that they would apply as much pressure as possible on their government to step up their efforts to help win the "war on terror."
Seems plausible, doesn't it?

You, like others, did not read my posts, and jumped to your own anti-Christian cynicism. Key words on my posts are WITNESS and IMPACT. Their strong Christian witness in the face of Islamists, I believe, would have an effective impact on the Arab Muslims in this country.
You are, evidently, not a Christian, because standing for Christ, bearing a cross for Him, personal witnessing and personal evangelism are, to the Christian, obvious desires of the heart. Biblical Christianity is not, nor has it ever been, "closet," or "just a matter between them and God" faith. The Scriptures clearly instruct us to be "READY TO GIVE AN ANSWER TO EVERY MAN..." and to BESEECH men TO BE RECONCILED TO GOD (2 Peter; 2 Corinthians). Biblical Christians don't keep their Savior to themselves or to their families. We are commanded to TEACH ALL NATIONS (Matthew ch. 28), PREACH THE GOSPEL TO EVERY CREATURE (Mark ch. 16), and we are told that we shall be HIS WITNESSES TO THE UTTERMOST PART OF THE EARTH (Acts 1:8). So my remarks to Christians are easily within the obvious admonitions to Christians in the New Testament.
If you are NOT a Christian, then my admonitions to professing Christians cannot apply to you, until you understand your own need of Jesus Christ; until you repent, and come to Christ as your only remedy to the condemnation of your sin nature and your sins.

There are all kinds of people who do business in the U.S. who are here for only a week or two at a time. Likewise, many, many people don't want to give up their citizenship to their native countries. Likewise, even if we did manage to somehow close our borders, there are American interests overseas.

I'd call OK City a terrorist attack. Didn't see any Arabs there.
I think what the poster meant was that all the attacks launched by Arabs have been launched by Arabs. ;)

We should then be more careful to note that we're talking about Muslim Arabs. To most Americans talking about Arabs, a Christian Arab is not counted among the bad guys

One of UBL's goals is to whip up anti-Muslim sentiment in the West. Irrational Islamophobia plays right into his strategy of radicalizing Muslims against the West and aids Al Queda's recruiting efforts.
"Rational" Islamophobia is another matter for me. Under present circumstances profiling and greater scrutiny of Middle Easterners is absolutely necessary IMHO. I think quite a lot of them would, in fact, agree with this.

One of my best friends is a Lebanese Christian. I have 3 cousins who are half Lebanese.(My Dad's First Cousin married a Lebanese Christian woman). I also know several Egytian Coptic Christians. They came here to escape Islamic opression in Egypt. All are well educated profesionals and are Republicans.
