The new method works by taking an embryo at a very early stage of development and removing a single cell,...Depending on the "very early stage", that single cell can also develop into an embryo and ultimately a complete human, so I'm not convinced this overcomes any of the existing concerns about using embryonic stem cells.

I believe the whole point of stem cells in general, is that they theoretically "may be" cultured to grow into anything, including a complete human.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
