Technically, Islam was a religion that was also supposed to be the government. Christianity has had governments that were not Christian. The Roman Empire was not called on to become a Christian nation, for example. Only when Constantine sort of established a supposedly Christian government to further his control did Rome sort of get a Christian government.

Arrests over murder of Serbs

VUKOVAR -- The District Court judge in Vukovar ordered the detention of five persons in connection with the 1991murder of the Olujiæ family.
The crime took place in Cerna, where the ethnic Serb family was brutally murdered. It was unofficially said that one of the arrested persons was granted the status of a protected witness, while another was an officer currently serving in the Croatian Army.
