I live in a very rural Georgia town and one of my tenants daughters just started school. In her class only three students speak english. I can't imagine how far behind the English speaking students are getting while the teachers truggle to teach the non-english speakers.

The sad thing is that your daughter will be negativly effected by it. The teachers will have to spend so much time trying to teach the latinos Enlgish that she won't have time to teach your daughter the skills a child of her age should be learning. The most critical time in a childs education is the first few years and your daughter won't get the education she deserves at school. That'll put a tremendous burden on you to teach her the skills the school doesn't have time to teach.
