What really irks me is that people tried to equate Arab with Islam, when they only make up to 20 to 23 percent of the Muslim world. In America, Arabs are predominately Christian, in fact 70 to 75 percent of Arabs are Christians.

In America, Arabs are predominately Christian, in fact 70 to 75 percent of Arabs are Christians. Arab-Americans, you mean. Most nationals of Arab countries are Muslims. There is some tension between old (mostly Christian) and new (mostly Muslim) Arab immigrants.
