Ping to wagglebee thread on something that really upsets the euthanasia enthusiasts...

TORONTO, September 11, 2006 (LifeSiteNews.com) – The recent efforts of Australia and other nations to ban the promotion of suicide through the internet has euthanasia advocates complaining that the loss of the internet may prove lethal to the “right-to-die” movement itself.

"Toxic Knowledge" ping to wagglebee thread on some contraindications to advancement in medical testing...

Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- The President's Council on Bioethics held a meeting last week and members said they are concerned that the advancement of medicine is leading to tests showing disabilities in unborn children that may prompt abortions. Prenatal testing is leading to "eugenic" abortions, several members of the panel said.

The panel called the information gathered from such prenatal testing "toxic knowledge" because such a high percentage of pregnancies involving disabled babies end in abortion.

>> So Haleigh's mother was safe enough to leave a newborn in her care/custody, but not safe enough to leave Haleigh with her?

You nail it. Nothing makes sense here on the surface. We have to look deeper. There is one constant at every evil turning in Haleigh's life, and that's the sister, Holli Strickland. She was source of deceit, over and over.

Clearly, Holli had connections in DSS. She played them like a harp. For one, she was some sort of "welfare queen," swindling state agencies -- she had four fraudulent social securities numbers issued for Haleigh. Then later, when Haleigh was showing repeated signs of physical battering, Holli always managed to con the DSS case workers that the child was hurting herself! It should have been a giant alarm going off -- especially to trained personnel in a child welfare agency. The DSS is rightly condemned for overlooking the abuse until it was too late, but we can't rule out that Holli's connections in the bureau had much to do with it.

I think Holli simply stole the child from her sister, Allison Avrett. We should dig up that story again. Details were sketchy, but as I recall it, Holli invited Haleigh for a visit (Allison was some distance away, in Virginia, I think). Then, when the child was in her possession, she reported Allison and/or her boyfriend for abuse. The DSS conveniently turned custody over to Holli. I don't think Allison was even there to defend herself. In any case, the DSS threat against Allison's unborn baby decided the matter.

There is no question that Holli had a deep, violent hatred for Haleigh, and beat her sadistically. The only way I can get any sense out of this is that Holly hated her sister Allison and schemed to hurt her. I guess in her twisted mind, she was getting even with Allison by stealing and torturing Haleigh.

I'll bet the mother knew all about Holli's schemes.

Whew, I should read the news before I start writing! I just now saw the lawsuit story, and that's right to the point. Now I have to go read it and see if any of my theories go up in smoke :-)

>> Haleigh's mother files lawsuit

Oh, my! Way to go, Wendy Murphy!

I wasn't aware that it was Holli's adoptive mother who shot her. Constance Young, 71; we didn't know her name before. There is little doubt now that Young did the shooting (the earlier stories were vaguely worded). She obviously was waiting for Holli, and shot her the day after she got out on bail. What do you want to bet that Young bought that gun when Holli and Jason were under arrest?

Lively thread over there :-) The story itself is wonderful news. For some reason, that attracts all the Joe Bfstplks and a few sex-specific denizens of the kennel. I do believe they could look at a dazzling dew drop on a rose petal in the sweet light of dawn, and see famine, plague, war, Israeli atrocities and clogging of the arteries.

I worry about bioethics. I also worry about the president having a council of bioethickers. There are a few honorable exceptions, but bioethickers as a rule are death culters. All they ever have to say is, "This case is a tragedy for all concerned, kill the patient."*

* That's what they say when meeting in committee, too.

A murder that is so public isn't that difficult to figure out. Terri Schiavo was murdered by Crist's judicial heroes. Take note that Americans have a new grassroots effort and are contacting Florida government in Tallahassee including Jeb Bush to demand a Special Prosecutor to investigate the illegal tv commercial produced for Judge Greer and alleged bankrolling of same by the former Sheriff of Pinellas Cty Everett Rice. Remember Sheriff Rice, he's not one of Crist's heroes but he's Greer's partner in crime. WHY DID SHERIFF EVERETT RICE HIRE MICHAEL SCHIAVO right before Terri died? What motivated all these sleazeballs to kill Terri?

The ILLEGAL TV COMMERCIAL CAN BE VIEWED HERE just click on the plastic VCR case:

http://www.conservative-spirit.org/

Even the Fla Elections Commission is part of the Greer TV ad coverup. They were offered the original videotape that shows the commercial aired on 8-14-04 but they turned it down, suppressing evidence. The Fla Elections Commission have lost their credibility now too.

So, it's either Jeb or Charlie's scandal. But, remember that Judge Greer is Charlie Crist's hero for killing Terri Schiavo. Maybe Jeb will clear this up before Crist gets an opportunity to bury the truth with the aid of democratic friends and trial lawyers.

MOST TV COMMERCIALS DO NOT LEAD TO MURDER. Greer's did.

I don't recommend calling Jeb Bush's number. They just patch the call through to who knows where. It's better if Jeb Bush is emailed demanding a special prosecutor. I'd say if he doesn't, he's going to lose even more support.

For the most part, technology offered to Terri Schiavo imo was Civil War Era through the First World War.

Sophisticated testing was not done until autopsy time.

She sure enjoyed ice cream though. Funny how that is......

There's no need for lifeguards any more at beaches and pools. Saving lives is intervening and we just can't be doing that.

Lifeguards should be fired and we'd all save money on our taxes if saving lives is considered "intervening".

>> There's no need for lifeguards

You're barely scratching the surface. What about the TSA and all their snooping into your luggage at airports? Useless. What about school crossing guards? And all the precautions in place in schools to prevent another Columbine? EMS personnel, ERs, hospitals themselves, doctors, nurses, pharmaceuticals -- out with them. Public health services -- stop now. Food and Drug Agency -- get lost and take all of your regulations with you. Forest rangers -- go home. Police, find another job. Firemen, find another job. Secret Service -- retire. U.S. intelligence agencies -- disband. Scads of others, no use listing any more of them.

No more intervening. Everyone can fend for themselves and the strong will hurt the weak the way Terri was tortured and died.

Once upon a time, I lived in the area of Indiana where a fine young man named Mike Pence looked to start his career as a lawmaker. I liked him because he was a rock solid conservative. We'd hear about him in the local papers or perhaps see him at public occasions. As I recall it, he lost his first election or maybe two. I left Indiana and lost track. Years went by and I started to hear about Mike Pence again -- now as a member of Congress and already showing great leadership ability.

May I say, I knew ye when, Mike? I did. Great work, young man!

Maybe, but they sure didn't want any outside observers did they? For we know she could of had "sickle cell anemia".

Ahh, the joys of committee decisions. Nobody can be blamed. Even the most dastardly of deeds get watered down and diffused in committee and responsibility is camouflaged. The result repels analysis like teflon no matter how devastating the group decision and everyone in the group can be a little Pontius Pilate.
