McCain was an "ordinary soldier" and POW. Had he been a High Profile Character, I can assure you that his body wouldn't be working as well as it does today.

Are you aware that many people (military included) acknowledge that McCain was tortured, and under said torture, gave the enemy information and because he WAS a high profile character due to his father, he knows the Viet Cong has tapes of his confessions. Many people are leary of McCain and some of the off the wall decisions he's made as a powerful political figure and think there is a very real possiblity he is extremely vunerable to blackmail.

McCain himself admits, in his autobiography, that torture worked when he was tortured. Now, of course, he says that torture doesn't work. LOL

McCain gave ship locations in return for medical treatment before he was tortured. He excuses himself by saying that the ships had moved from their positions.

McCain's grandfather was also an Admiral. There are plenty of storys that he caved and got special treatment ratting out his "buddies". In any event, he is NUTS!
