Seems like more trouble than its worth, smuggling cocaine across the ocean. It'd be a whole lot easier just to get some illegal to carry it across the border.

Generally, the go fast boats off-load the drugs to fishing trawlers that then "get lost" in the giant Pacific. They then either port into Mexico or on-load to go fasts that take the drugs to Mexico. Then the drugs are trucked or smuggled across the border. Either way, Mexico is the destination for a lot of Colombian drugs.

do they make mules that big that can carry 8 tons??? the mules around here can only carry about 200#

Exactely... Eighteen wheeler loads of many things including cocaine across the border.. Wonder what a border patrolman costs these days along a 2000 mile border..

Not at the prices it will sell for while it is banned. I expect to see submarines soon if not already.
