Surge in Anti-Muslim Incidents Reported
The Washington Post ^ | September 19, 2006 | Michelle Boorstein

A national Muslim advocacy organization yesterday blamed a "negative and politically charged" environment on the Internet and talk radio for the 30 percent jump in anti-Muslim incidents reported to the group last year.

The Council on American-Islamic Relations received 1,972 complaints of harassment, violence and discriminatory treatment in 2005, up from 1,522 in 2004, according to an annual report released yesterday.

There is no such thing as a radical muslim.

As dangerous as it has become in our time, Islam is not quite a monolith. There are sects that interpret the Koran far more generously than others, substituting the figurative for the literal in order to accomodate modern realities and the perceived necessity of accepting other peoples' belief systems. Those who I term "radicals" are those who insist not only on the literal word, but who harbor a militant imperative to kill or convert non-believers to it.

It is like some women who walk around in really suggestive clothing and then complain about the men staring at them!

A note to CAIR:
When you take care of all the imans who preach hate against me;
All or the Muslim terrorists who want to kill me because I think Muhammad was just a failed merchant who created a religion to justify his dishonest trade practices;
All the other scum your religion of peace has produced;
I’ll still expect eight hours work for eight hours pay…
And no prayer breaks

I suspect that those who intrepret the Koran figuratively as you suggest, only do so as a means of obeying the Koranic decree of lying to infidels until they reach sufficient numbers to where that is no longer necessary.

To be a member of the literal believing and largest sects (sunni and shiite) you agree on all of the tenets of the faith as I have mentioned. They make up 85-90% of islam or about 1,000,000,000 (billion) of the followers. I will go along with the peaceful sects and live with them in peace after the others are rotting under glass. And that is the BIG picture. Don't worry about the dog until you have cured the rabies.

You also are not figuring in the tenets of islam to support with all you can the mujihadeen who are doing the fighting that you can not do. They have every angle covered to support your death or conversion. So die or resist, you will not be allowed to live free. Islam means submission learn the 5 pillars and pray 5 times a day Also when the 90% have taken over even those peaceful sects you think are out there will be terminated for heresy.

Just wait till CAIR comes after the Blogosphere. Get ready to pour out cash for legal fees. You KNOW that oil money will be used, successfully, to employ ACLU drones to shut down any criticism or discussion of Islam in the US.

The Bill of Rights is only as effective as the money to pay the legal fees to fight for its right to exist.

This is just more of CAIR's PC BULLSH*T. Unfortunately for them, people are seeing thru this and seeing the "religion" of the sandmaggots for what it really is.........an excuse.

I suspect that whoever in CAIR is responsible for tracking these complaints is also encouraging all muslims to report such complaints - with the promise that some political mileage will be gained.

Muslims are easily offended. It shouldn't be hard to get them to file a complaint every time they are offended. If they play their cards right, next year they could have a million complaints.

I'd say there are about 3000 killings on US soil done by Muzzies compared to a handful of Muzzies killed by Americans here in the US. Quite a bit of disparity so I say to CAIR STFU!!

I'm sick of listening to the Muslims and their "don't dare say anything about us or else"! Screw em all! I never hear any Muslims in the U.S. speak out against their violent behavior. Why not?

They all/90% believe in it. They must support it in order to be observant muslims. It is what the Koran wants and says, but you as an infidel/Unbeliever are to be kept in the dark until the sword comes for you. Check out Jihad watch and see what your future holds. to be foretold is to be forewarned.
