Impeachment is not removal from office, the Senate is the body that removes a President or VP from office and they need 67 votes to do so which is an IMPOSSIBLITY for it to happen in this case.
Anyway, you are being UNREALISTICLY PRESSIMSTIC. Your scenario will never happen first because the Republicans will keep the House and the Senate and even if they lose the House the democrats will not have enough votes to impeach President Bush because many democrats from the South and Midwest will know that they are politically finished if they vote for impeachment.
I read on the site to Brian Ross linked by Drudge that the IM's reference "sexual organs" and activities in an explicit way.

From what I just read from your link...those e-mails, or whatever that are supposed to be a smoking gun sound like he's just trying to sound interested, but not perverted.

"Representative" does not mean you vote the way the majority of your constituents believe. A representative is chosen to represent the people, and to vote his or her own conscience.

It was Dianna who brought up the correct way to look at this whole thing. Most of us are too busy reeling from the news. It is pretty obvious once you have time to digest it all. WHAT DID THE DEMS KNOW AND WHEN DID THEY KNOW IT???
