S. Korea military preparing for nuclear war contingency: Yonhap

SEOUL, Oct. 11 KYODO

South Korea's military has reported on its preparations for a nuclear war contingency on the Korean Peninsula in the wake of North Korea's claimed nuclear bomb test on Monday, Yonhap News Agency reported Wednesday.

The report said the military's joint chiefs of staff reported to the defense minister for the second time in a week on the country's military preparedness for nuclear war.
