I don't know if you are old enough, probably not, but when I was in gym class, we wore incredibly ugly blue one'sies with bloomer bottons that snaped up the front. The plus side was everyone looked hideous in the bloomers.
The schools should bring them back. ( -;
I remember those when I went to Catholic boarding school in the 50s. I remember in boy's HS hoping those shorts in front of me were on girls instead.
