I agree. Don't jump to conclusions. Didn't Foley ask the kid something about his birthday? If so, Mr. F was very careful to be sure he was operating within the law. He, of course, helped to write the law, didn't he? Ugh.
I think having cybersex during an important house vote would be enough to make me resign. The guy does have some serious problems controlling his sexual desires, but it appears that given what we know now, he isn't a criminal. I understand your concern though that we might be counting our chickens a little early.
I don't want to read them again either but remember the order and the times were all messed up. I wonder if Foley was set up (still makes him stupid)as I can't see him finding all these IM screen names himself, did they seek him out and edit logs to make him look sleazier or themselves more innocent? You can't IM just anybody without having very open settings or an invitation.
I was curious about the emails to the 16 yr old. Was Foley asking about birthdays to find young men over 18? It sounds like he was waiting until guys left the page program.

If this guy is 17 or 18 seems to make all the difference in the world. Why? I don't know. At 45, there doesn't seem to be much difference between 18 and 17. It was wrong by my standards, but it would seem to be extremely hypocrytical by the standards of those that would defend Bill Clinton and homosexuality.

Story over by Friday....collusion between ABC/CREW/DNC will be the story of the day shortly thereafter. When will Ross issue an on air apology? When will Nancy Pelosi resign for her lies? Is this the Rove October surprise afterall? Or is that the criminal investigation of Rocky, et al, regarding the release of highly classified information to the NYTimes? Or the dropping of the charges against Libby and the indictment of Val and Joe? Media frenzy is beyond belief on this story...these people are salivating and it is quite funny to watch. I have no sympathy for Foley, but the timing of this reeks of Dem dirty tricks.
It seems the only thing Drudge is attacking is ABC for providing false info.
Then believe what you want and stop asking people to prove things to you.
Has it occurred to anyone that 10% of all congressional pages are homosexual, and that the gay congresscritters seek them out with their own brand of Gaydar?
I ask that question as a logical extension of gay claims.

Drudge has had a history of attacking the accuser in pedophile cases. I would take anything that Drudge says with a grain of salt.
