This is the nail in the coffin for the donks capturing the house or the senate. A few days from now, everyone will know the truth and start looking at the donks and ABC. Once sitting elected donks are tied to knowing about these IMS when repubs did not, the dam will overflow.

>>>ABC should get the same contempt poured all over them as CBS and Rather.<<<

Amen to that. And Jordan should rethink his desire to mingle in politics. He is currently working on the Istook campaign. At least until tomorrow morning.

Ethics panel faces major decisions in Foley investigation
WASHINGTON (AP) — The House ethics committee can conduct an in-house investigation of former Representative Mark Foley's salacious messages to teenagers or hire an outside counsel. Either way, it's likely that Speaker Dennis Hastert and other top Republicans will have to explain why they failed to thoroughly investigate relationships the former Florida congressman had with male pages.

The evenly divided ethics committee scheduled its first meeting for tomorrow. They'll have to decide how to investigate a potential Republican cover-up that could cost Hastert his job and help decide control of the House.

This is not the first time the ethics committee has investigated a speaker. Outside counsels were hired in the probes of former Democratic Speaker Jim Wright and ex-Republican Speaker Newt Gingrich. Also, an outside counsel conducted a broad sex and drugs investigation in the early 1980s that ended with the censure of two House members for consensual relationships with House pages.

Xxxxxxxxxx (8:33:29 PM): ya slow things down a little im still young...like under 18 dont want to do anything illegal...im not 18 till feb 23 Maf54 (8:33:43 PM): i know.. Maf54 (8:33:50 PM): nothing will happen Maf54 (8:34:04 PM): just dreaming

The scoop is dead meat. I really wish that blogger who "broke" this had used more caution. The real scoop is that the page was under 18 for part of the IM exchanges.

His first name is the same as the last name of a VERY famous basketball player who played for the Chicago Bulls, and his last name is Edmund.

Pedophilia, for legal purposes, is the children under the age of 16.I think it has to do with the age of consent legally yes. But pedophilia is truly those interested in prebuscent (sp?) children and not horny teenagers.

But hey, we seem to have a better man as a replacement. Negron is already looking as the front runner in his district's race. Silver lining...

John Boener (sp?) wa on the radio just yesterday all but conceding this seat.

2/3rds of the votes in that district went to Foley, the Republican during the last election there.

As long as the voters are made aware that a) Foley is no longer running and b) Negron is, I don't see why Negron would lose.

I understand that there may be some evangelicals who might not vote (as retarded as that is!) but it shouldn't make that much of a difference.

Foley can make his return to politics as a Democrat, for all I care. He'd be more welcome in the party of McGreevey, Frank, and Studds.

I don't see where anyone here is attacking the victim. I think most of us are attacking the sleazy news organizations and the Demo Party for trying to set up a sex scandal that may just end with the dems and abc having excrement all over their faces. (I hope, I hope.)

If they were fake, why not come out and say so?

I would think that Foley's hands are tied and he's not parsing the IM's yet. Maybe they are just perked up....there is proof of tampering with the emails.....why not the IM's???

Spell it out. Point it out. Like to the proof. If it is so obvious, why won't people do that?

Because due to your strange agenda, you wouldn't be able to figure it out no matter how simply it is presented.

We can't stop pulling this forum over to the side of the road, always waiting for you to "catch up".
