Now that ABC has been caught telling a lie about this cobbled together scandal, they will be forced to reveal just how this "story" found its way to Brian Ross. They have no choice other than to "stonewall", which won't work in the Internet age. What will now come out about this story will include the "whos" and "whens" of what has gone on.
I'm guessing the Dems and ABC will be very sorry they tried to sell this cow pie as a truffle.
BTW, I call for the immediate resignation of Brian Ross and Charlie Gibson.

I'm guessing the Dems and ABC will be very sorry they tried to sell this cow pie as a truffle No they won't be sorry. The damage is already done, and it's a victory for them. Like the Plame affair, facts mean little and public perception means everything.

That's right....Charlie Gibson, head of the news division at ABC. Has he been hawking this sh*t on his broadcast?

I'm guessing the Dems and ABC will be very sorry they tried to sell this cow pie as a truffle. I love your colloquialism. I had not heard that one before but it fits this situation perfectly. Thank you Algore for the internet. LOL!

Unless Jordan released the IM's to them, they're likely to be forced to disclose in court how they got them.
Even if he revealed them to a friend, who then passed them on, ABC by its own actions demonstrated that it believed it had a legal obligation to protect his identity. It's just that they screwed that up for a few minutes---long enough for someone out there in cyberland to get a screencap of their mistake.
